In our Painting and Drawing Summer Course, students can choose among the following techniques: ・Basic drawing ・Advanced drawing ・Oil painting ・Watercolor ・Tempera painting ・Acrylic painting
The course deals with the most fundamental principles and elements of Italian painting, with an emphasis on the perception and build-up of form, tone, and color on a two-dimensional surface. Emphasis is also on color mixing, handling of brush strokes, glazing, and scumbling, as well as traditional canvas preparation.
We offer hands-on practical learning experiences, in small groups, led by enthusiastic and experienced teachers.
Instructors :
Our instructors are active in modern art and have very strong insights into traditional painting and have very strong background not only on basic techniques, but also on Fresco and traditional techniques. Their artistic talent is no need to mention, but also they excel in instructing students in exciting manner and are brimmed with artistic power of Italy. We believe these classes can imbue professional artists with strong sense of artistic power.
